Quilla is a presence more than a lamp. A silent character who lives in the corners or on the furniture of your home and turns on sometimes to give you some light.

The inspiration for Quilla comes from the interest in different classical mythologies, and in the specific case that of the Inca. One of the most important deities is Mama Quilla, moon goddess, whose person/moon duality I wanted to represent and reinterpret by giving a shape that is both slightly anthropomorphic (body, shoulders, head), and at the same time "astronomica" (lunar disk in the sky above the earth).
